UmojaHub supplies the ticketing service and collects the booking fee shown at checkout. The association named on the event page is the event organiser and the seller of the ticket.

Using UmojaHub

UmojaHub provides association pages, event publishing, ticketing, event operations and community tools. You must provide accurate information, use the service lawfully and keep access links and devices secure. You must not attempt to access another association’s workspace, interfere with the service, misuse personal information, send unlawful or unsolicited content, or upload material you do not have a right to use.

Association and event responsibility

An association remains responsible for its organisation, event content, venue, programme, safety arrangements, accessibility information, prices, cancellation decisions, legal obligations and the authority of people it invites. UmojaHub workflows support planning and accountability; they do not certify an event as safe, legally compliant or financially complete.

Accounts and permissions

Sign-in links are personal and single-use. Association owners control association and financial permissions. Event roles and finance grants may be scoped, expire or be revoked. UmojaHub may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, associations or the platform, investigate misuse or comply with law.

Tickets and payments

The event page shows the ticket price and any UmojaHub booking fee before checkout. Stripe processes payments on its hosted checkout. For associations enabled for Stripe Connect, ticket proceeds are routed to the association’s connected Stripe account and UmojaHub receives the separately shown booking fee. Stripe controls payment-method availability, verification and payout timing. The association is the event organiser and is responsible for the event and its cancellation or refund decision, subject to applicable law and the ticket and refund policy. A ticket may be voided after a valid refund or where fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected.

Partner offers

Travel and experience partner offers are optional advertisements separate from the event ticket. The offer card identifies the partner, states its validity and explains that UmojaHub may earn a commission. If you follow an offer, you book and pay the partner directly under the partner’s terms. UmojaHub is not the merchant of record, does not hold partner inventory, and does not guarantee a price, discount, availability, quality, safety or fulfilment. A partner booking does not change the contract for your event ticket.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep UmojaHub available and protect stored information, but maintenance, security work and circumstances outside our reasonable control may interrupt the service. We may change features or these terms when reasonably necessary. Material changes will be dated and communicated through an appropriate service channel.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, UmojaHub is not the organiser of events listed by associations and is not responsible for an association’s acts, event cancellation, venue, programme or attendee conduct. Any liability will be assessed under applicable law and the specific service arrangement with the association.

Privacy and contact

Our privacy notice explains how personal information is handled. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@umojahub.co.uk.
